Colourful pupils stood in solidarity for two important causes at St Martin’s Academy recently.
The children elected to wear either pink for Breast Cancer Now’s ‘wear it pink’ campaign or red for Show Racism the Red Card. Every pupil donated £1 for their chosen charity and explored the themes of each campaign in class.
Head of School, Wenda Smith, said: “Developing our children’s social conscience is an important part of what we do here at St Martin’s and learning about charity and awareness campaigns is an important part of that.
“Thank you to all our families for making a fantastic effort on the day an supporting such great causes.”
