Rudheath Senior Academy pupils recognised for his contribution to the community

Dedicated Eden Palin has been recognised for his work in the community at the first ever Rudheath & Witton Together Community Awards 2022.

The 15-year-old Rudheath Senior Academy pupil was nominated for the Young Persons Award for his fundraising and voluntary work with the Army Cadets and the 1874 Northwich FC children’s football team, where Eden works alongside coaches to set up the pitches for training and match days.

Rudheath Senior Academy’s Business Manager Jack Jevons said: “Eden received some lovely comments from the community, a goody bag, and a runner up medal for his achievements.

“We are all extremely proud of him, keep up the amazing work!”

Rudheath and Witton Together began in 2013 and is a 10 year Big Local project funded by the Community Fund (lottery). The total funding for the project is over £1 million.

The project is led by a partnership of local residents who come together to make the Rudheath and Witton community an even better place to live.
