Ellesmere children try their hand at Kurling

Children from Ellesmere Primary School threw themselves into a ‘New Age Kurling’ competition at The Marches School.

A team of four children from Year 5 represented the school at the tournament at The Marches School.

It was the first time that they had played the sport. After the preliminary round the team managed to secure a place in the trophy round and finished fourth.

Incredible for their very first attempt!

New Age Kurling is a great all inclusive sport and as a result we have ordered two of our very own sets so more children can have a go at the sport.
