Delamere C of E Academy is top of the primary schools’ performance tables in west Cheshire.
Based on SATs results, Delamere came at the top for all schools in the Cheshire West and Chester Council boundary, with 96 per cent of children achieving the expected standard.
The school, in Stoney Lane, is also in the top 1% of schools nationally.
Head of School Julie Clayton, said: “We are delighted with this result, which shows that our children are thriving at school.
“We pride ourselves on helping children achieve their very best in a nurturing environment and it is a real boost to see all the hard work paying off.”
The average score for schools in Cheshire West and Chester is 64 per cent, up from 59 per cent last year.
The area’s average is the same the national average, which has increased from 61 per cent last year.
